When you get a new toy, why not go all out and test the limits, and that exactly what I did with GPT4o...

AI

I still need to finish the longer educational presentation of how my complex GenAI workflow functions, and all the dissection of the various components, but I have released the latest and most complex version for problem solving. So what is now available at my website linked below, is an attempt at optimizing generalized workflow concepts with advanced prompt engineering techniques and structures utilizing task customizable analytical framework implementations. That's just a lot of word salad to say this is a complicated way of using a customized and complex approach to problem solving with GenAI. You can throw just about any kind of problem you want through the workflow, but for the purposes of testing I find using various news articles describing complex real world issues a fun use case.

So what I have added to my website is the following:

1 - The extremely detailed GenAI Workflow with the final result included
2 - The Source file (news article on Contested Logistics in the Pacific)
3 - The Preliminary Assessment result of the source file
4 - The Analytical Frameworks Listing
5 - The Problem Analysis Results from the multi-step frameworks

44 Prompts, 11 major steps, 8 frameworks, and 6 pages of final result

Is it worth it? ...Maybe
Am I impressed with GPT4o? ...with the speed at least
Can you modify this workflow for other things?...most definitely

Personally, I still find Claude 3 Opus preferable for most things, and the workflow is a bit overkill at 8 frameworks, but that's what GPT4o called for. Claude generally uses 5 frameworks or less for most problem tasks, and the results are a bit more impressive at least in detail if nothing else.

As I have mentioned before, the prompting structures are the real power in the design, and I'll talk much more about that in the educational guide. In the meantime, for those who love to nerd out on high level prompt engineering, I hope you enjoy my many months of work to get to this point.

I really look forward to doing more cool experiments with GPT4o…

I have spent way too many hours messing with getting this working, and now it's time for sleep...
